Weddings, Vow Renewals, Photographers, Flowers and More On St. John US Virgin Islands

     "For 10 years we have been enjoying St. John for one week every winter - the fabulous snorkeling, the marvelous hiking, the friendly, interesting people. This year, while feasting at our inspiration restaurant, Luscious Licks, we noticed a card on the board inviting everyone to "Make This Vacation a Honeymoon Re-Marry Your Mate"
      Phoning the local number, we were greeted with the soothing, Southern voice and charming personality of Anne Marie, 18 year residents and enthusiastic supporter of St. John. Our brief conversation left us feeling she had known us forever and the with a plan to meet us at sunset on Trunk Bay Beach to "get married again".
     We arrived in the golden light of late afternoon and stepped onto "one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world" according to National Geographic magazine, alone, except for a smiling blond woman waiving to us.
      What happened next needs to be experienced to be understood. Anne Marie softly guided us into a deep connection with each other as we were encouraged to let the past gently wash away with each wave that lapped at our bare feet. It felt like we were being married for the first time. But, unlike our original wedding ceremony, we were very relaxed and actually paying attention to the words we were saying. After much laughter and some quite unexpected tears, we were pronounced "married a new!"
      The remainder of our holiday took on an even deeper appreciation of the preciousness of St. John and each other.
      The next morning, as we snorkeled above parrot fish munching upon coral for breakfast, Larry reached out to hold my hand. I was reminded of our first snorkel trip, 10 years ago, on our initial visit to the islands. Anne Marie had kept her promise - our vacation had become a honeymoon!"
